Tour Itinerary: 

Day 1: Arrive Vancouver

Your journey begins today on arrival in Vancouver. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the heart of this cosmopolitan city. After settling in, meet with your Tour Director and fellow guests during a Welcome Reception this evening.

Day 2: Vancouver

Fall in love with Vancouver and enjoy a sightseeing tour, which takes you through some of the city’s most vibrant districts and best-loved attractions, including the Waterfront and historic Gastown.

Insider Experience – Light Walk: Take the Skyride gondola to the top of Grouse Mountain and embark on a snowshoe tour of the enchanting Light Walk, where dazzling lights illuminate the path around Blue Grouse Lake and the surrounding snow-capped trees. Then, savour a delicious fondue dinner to cap off your exciting adventure. 

Day 3: Vancouver

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore Vancouver.

Day 4: Vancouver – Calgary - Banff

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Calgary. Travel to Banff National Park, a beautiful and pristine wilderness area located in the Canadian Rockies, home to stunning mountain vistas, turquoise glacial lakes and an abundance of wildlife. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 5: Banff

This morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Banff, where the main street is lined with charming boutiques, galleries, and restaurants. Admire the stunning chateau-style hotels and beautiful architecture. Then, enjoy a tranquil ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain aboard the Banff Gondola, offering a unique and breathtaking perspective of Banff National Park. Glide above the treetops on an incredible eight-minute journey and take in uninterrupted views of six mountain ranges and the extraordinary Bow Valley.

Day 6: Banff

Spend today at leisure and discover the beauty of Banff. 

Day 7: Banff - Lake Louise

Travel to Lake Louise, the ‘Jewel of the Rockies’. During winter, Lake Louise looks like something out of a fairy tale: it’s like a real-life snow globe with its glittering ice castles and enchanting outdoor skate rink. Enjoy time to sit back and take in this magnificent setting over dinner.

Day 8: Lake Louise - Yellowknife

Early this morning, return to Calgary for your included flight to Yellowknife. Upon arrival, you’ll find winter apparel ready for you at your hotel. Tonight, embark on an Aurora Chasing guided tour from Yellowknife. Throughout the evening, your guide will constantly be on the lookout for the best places to spot the aurora borealis and give you tips and tricks on how to take the best photos.

Day 9: Yellowknife

This morning, a City Tour of Yellowknife awaits. Discover over 20 points of interest, including the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, Legislative Assembly, Bush Pilots Monuments, Diamond Centre, Ice Castle and Ragged Ass Road. Later today, perhaps book an optional adventure and enjoy dog sledding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling (own expense).   

Insider Experience – Aurora Viewing Tour: Embark on a captivating Aurora Viewing Tour, where you may witness the magic of the northern lights at a secluded Aurora Lakeview cabin. This incredible natural phenomenon is a sight to behold. 

Day 10: Yellowknife

Spend another day at leisure or choose an optional tour. Enjoy a memorable evening as you are picked up from your hotel for an exclusive journey to a private Aurora Viewing Campsite within an Indigenous community, leaving you spellbound by the splendour of the northern lights.

Day 11: Depart Yellowknife

Your tour concludes this morning. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport.
