Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Reykjavik, Iceland
Arrive in Iceland's colourful capital and enjoy a traditional Icelandic welcome lunch. Join a guided walking tour through Reykjavik's historic centre, taking in City Hall, Parliament House and the striking Harpa Concert Hall before enjoying the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Golden Circle
Experience Iceland's most famous natural attractions on the Golden Circle route. Marvel at the powerful Gullfoss Waterfall, witness the erupting hot springs of Geysir and stand between continents at Thingvellir National Park. Visit a family-run dairy farm and discover Icelandic horse breeding and greenhouse cultivation powered by geothermal energy.
Day 3: Reykjavik – Borgarnes
Travel along Iceland's spectacular western coastline to the fishing town of Akranes. Visit Deildartunguhver, Europe's highest-flowing hot spring, and hear local legends at the beautiful Barnafoss waterfall before continuing to Borgarnes, a charming town steeped in Viking history.
Day 4: Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Discover one of Iceland's most scenic regions, often described as "Iceland in Miniature". Visit Ytri Tunga beach, admire Bjarnarfoss waterfall, explore the dramatic cliffs of Arnarstapi and take in breathtaking views of Kirkjufell, Iceland's most photographed mountain.
Day 5: Borgarnes – Vik
Learn about Iceland's renewable energy industry at one of the world's largest geothermal power stations. Explore the Lava Exhibition Center before witnessing the spectacular Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk behind the cascading water. Continue to the picturesque village of Vik on Iceland's south coast.
Day 6: South Coast Discovery
Explore the Skógar Museum and its collection of traditional turf houses before visiting the magnificent Skógafoss waterfall. Discover Reynisfjara's famous black sand beach, dramatic basalt columns and volcanic coastline before enjoying views of the impressive Sólheimajökull Glacier.
Day 7: Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon
Travel to the world-famous Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, where towering icebergs drift through crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a memorable amphibian boat cruise among the floating ice formations and visit nearby Diamond Beach, where glistening ice fragments rest upon volcanic black sands.
Day 8: Vik – Reykjavik
Return to Reykjavik via the scenic Reykjanes Peninsula. Learn about traditional Icelandic wool dyeing techniques before unwinding in the geothermal waters of Sky Lagoon, where sweeping ocean views provide the perfect setting for relaxation. Celebrate your journey with a farewell dinner.
Day 9: Reykjavik
Enjoy a day at leisure to further explore Reykjavik's galleries, museums, waterfront precinct and vibrant café culture, or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere of Iceland's fascinating capital city.
Day 10: Reykjavik (Post-Tour Stay)
