Day 1: Arrival Casablanca
Welcome to Casablanca! Your adventure begins as you touch down in the city, where the day is yours to explore or simply unwind after your journey. In the evening, join your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a delightful dinner at the hotel—your first taste of Morocco’s rich flavours and warm hospitality. Let the excitement of the days ahead sink in as you settle into this unforgettable experience.
Day 2: Casablanca – Fes
Today's adventure begins with a guided orientation of Casablanca. Snap a photo outside Rick’s Cafe, inspired by the classic film Casablanca. Afterward, marvel at the grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque, a symbol of the city which features the second tallest minaret in the world. The journey continues to Meknes, where you’ll witness the imposing gate to the Kasbah of Moulay Ismail, a relic of Morocco’s royal history. Upon arriving in Fes, unwind or opt for an unforgettable Choice Experience — an Arabian dinner with live entertainment, immersing yourself in the magic of Morocco.
Day 3: Fes Sightseeing and Free Time
Start your day exploring the wonders of Fes! Marvel at the 12th-century Royal Palace, followed by a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience at the non-profit American Fondouk, where you'll meet the volunteer veterinarians who are passionately dedicated to animal welfare. Then, enjoy panoramic views of the Medina from Borg Hill before diving into the vibrant Fez Medina with a Local Guide, visiting the tanneries, Carpet Cooperative, and Medersa al-Attarine. The afternoon is yours to explore or opt for a Bhalil Revealed Choice Experience. Or you could dive into a hands-on cooking class at Bab Sahra Fez to learn the culinary secrets of traditional Moroccan dishes.
Day 4: Fes to Chefchaouen
Today, you’re off to one of Morocco’s key highlights—the 'Blue City' of Chefchaouen. Begin with an orientation tour, taking in the charm of this picturesque city with its iconic blue-washed buildings. Visit the historic Kasbah, nestled in the heart of the Medina, and explore its peaceful gardens and small museum. The evening is yours to enjoy, so you might want to relax at your hotel’s terrace for stunning views, or head to Place Outa El Hamam square. As night falls, the square comes alive with performers and local musicians, giving you an authentic taste of Chefchaouen’s culture.
Day 5: Chefchaouen to Rabat
This afternoon, you’ll arrive in Rabat and begin with an orientation tour of Morocco’s capital. Start by viewing the Royal Palace, the King’s official residence, displaying stunning traditional architecture. Then, marvel at the Hassan Tower, a 12th-century minaret and an iconic symbol of the city’s rich history. Finally, visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a beautifully decorated tomb that honours the late King and his sons. Your Local Guide will share insights into the history and significance of these remarkable landmarks.
Day 6: Rabat to Marrakesh
Say goodbye to Rabat as you embark on a scenic drive through the heart of Morocco. Arriving in the 'Red City' of Marrakesh, you'll instantly feel the buzz of this iconic city, famous for its rich history, bustling souks, and stunning palaces. Want to make the day your own? You could explore the vibrant streets solo, unwind at your hotel, or even opt for a trip to the Ourika Valley, where you’ll sip tea with a local Berber family and learn about their traditions.
Day 7: Marrakesh Sightseeing and Free Time
Discover the charm of Marrakesh, where old-world history blends with modern life. Start with an optional visit to Majorelle Gardens, an oasis restored by Yves Saint Laurent, famous for its vibrant colours, including the iconic Majorelle Blue. Explore the Berber Museum to learn about Morocco’s indigenous heritage, then join a guided tour, beginning at Dar El Bacha Museum, a former palace showcasing stunning Moroccan architecture. You’ll also visit the Koutoubia Mosque before ending at the UNESCO-listed Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, filled with performers, merchants, and storytellers. The afternoon is yours to explore at your leisure of perhaps choose an optional Vintage Sidecar tour. Later, consider a visit to Jemaa el-Fnaa at night, followed by a traditional Moroccan dinner.
Day 8: Depart Marrakesh
As your journey concludes, you’ll head to the airport to depart with unforgettable memories of your Moroccan adventure.
