Whale Route full day tour

This whale-watching tour offers an exciting way to witness the majestic Southern Right whales that come to the Cape each season to breed and calve. Whale season typically runs between June to November in the Cape, and each season, large numbers of whales can be seen along the coast. The best place to see these creatures is along the famous Whale Route, which spans along the coastline passing Gordon’s Bay, Pringle Bay and Betty’s Bay on route to Hermanus. This Cape Town tour includes a visit to the beautiful Fernkloof Nature Reserve which spans 2000 hectares of mountains and coastal fynbos as well as a huge number of birds and smaller mammals. The Harold Porter Botanical Gardens is another highlight for nature-lovers, while on weekdays and Saturdays, a trip through the Hamilton Russell Wine Estate offers a glimpse into Hermanus’ viticulture. As one of the top destinations for whale-watching, Hermanus is perfectly positioned to offer the best viewing directly from the shore. You will be able to watch as these giants of the deep frolic in the waves and launch out of the water to breach. The Southern Right whale got its name in the days of whaling many centuries ago – the size of the whale and the fact that it floated once it had been harpooned made it the ‘right’ whale for whalers to catch. There are around 3000 Southern Right whales left in the seas today.

Singapore Cultural Experience - Private Tour

Singapore is undisputedly the melting pot of different cultures. This diversity instead of setting us apart has created a unique community and a branded identity called Singaporean. Visit the different Ethnic enclaves starting with Kampomg Glam. Visit the Sultan Mosque, the very heartbeat of Malay culture. Walk along 19th century shophouses now turned into stores selling textiles and, clothings and trendy cafes lining Haji Lane. Visit thereafter to Little India and be entranced by the sight and sound of the vibrant Indian culture, with temples and mosques, street art and brightly painted shophouses. Head off thereafter to Chinatown to be soaked in the Chinese ways of life. Meander along narrow streets exploring local street food, souvenir shops, crafts and antiques. You will know more about Singapore through her people and their ways of life. Tour will end at the hotel.
