Kiwi Explorer

Explore close to home, this cruise provides the perfect escape to see some of the best untouched beauty with a visit to stunning Stewart Island and majestic Milford Sound!

If you love wine and cheese tasting, swimming with dolphins, shopping sprees, adventure sports, lush green countryside, art deco buildings, and World Heritage listed wonders, then exploring New Zealand is for you.

Auckland’s waterside location has fostered the locals’ love affair with the sea, and has earned itself the nickname “the City of Sails”. With more boats per capita than any other country in the world, it truly is a water lover’s paradise.

With its very French clapboard buildings and Gallic street names, Akaroa - the gateway to Christchurch - always comes as a surprise to travellers who are used to a very British or Maori New Zealand.

Like much of New Zealand, Stewart Island can be described in just one word: breathtaking. But for the sake of painting a picture, we’ll expand for you. This slow-paced island sits just off the coast of the South Island, and is made up of 85% National Park. Flora and fauna abound, as do opportunities to sneak some much needed peace and quiet in tranquil, breathtaking surroundings.

Glide across glassy waters through the snow-capped mountains, sparkling glaciers and lush rainforests of Fiordland, New Zealand’s largest national park. At the heart lies the world famous Milford Sound fiord, surrounded by cliffs that stretch nearly a mile above its surface, making for an incredible vista that includes Mitre Peak. Rainforest grows across the steep cliffs, while waterfalls plummet into the mirror-like waters far below.

Picton sits at the head of Queen Charlotte Sound and is surrounded by lush, rolling hills. It is the gateway to the South Island of New Zealand, and a launching pad to the many inlets and bays that make up Marlborough Sounds.

If you love wine and cheese tasting, swimming with dolphins, shopping sprees, adventure sports, lush green countryside, art deco buildings, and World Heritage listed wonders, then New Zealand is for you.
