Itinerary Highlights
Fremantle is a dynamic and vibrant port city situated on the mouth of the Swan River. It is renowned for its cosmopolitan atmosphere with strong southern European, particularly Italian influences.
Nothing can prepare you for Exmouth’s unspoilt, and seemingly deserted beaches, its pristine deep blue ocean or its dramatic red ochre coastline. It is also a popular recreational fishing area. Tourists come from afar to indulge in beach fishing as well as fishing for deep ocean species like red emperor, sailfish, snapper, mackerel and tuna.
Magnificent red rock escarpments and a peaceful turquoise bay. Nestled in the remote Kimberley Coast area, the Kuri Bay coastline is highlighted by magnificent red rock escarpments and a peaceful turquoise bay. You will see this beautiful destination up close when you step ashore to visit a working pearl farm in its contemporary form and learn techniques of pearling in the Kimberley.
Located in the middle of Doubtful Bay, in the heart of Worrora country, lies Raft Point, an impressive rock headland and renowned site of indigenous rock art. Enjoy unforgettable sweeping coastal views over neighbouring Steep Island and look for Boab trees on the beach, easily recognised by the swollen base of its trunk and bottle-like appearance. The trunk base may be very large with some trees recorded with bases five metres in diameter.
This is one to cross off your bucket list. Yampi Sound and the magnificent Buccaneer Archipelago between King Sound and Collier Bay are jam-packed with natural wonders that will astound you. See beautiful clear blue waters and stunning Kimberley landscapes. Rich fish life including white-bellied sea eagles, brahminy kites, ospreys, common sandpipers and eastern reef egrets are an attraction for bottlenose dolphins that come to feed in the early mornings.
From its romantic pearling history to the cosmopolitan character of Chinatown, its incredibly clear waters, to its red sandstone cliffs and endless white sand beaches, the colours of Broome are sure to leave a lasting impression.
